Seventy7 Apps does not run servers, does not offer accounts, and does not ask you to sign in. Anything you save inside one of our apps stays on your device. We cannot see it, we cannot read it, and we could not hand it over if we were asked to.
This policy applies to every app published by Seventy7 Apps, including SafeEat UK. Where an individual app sends anything beyond your device, it is listed under "What each app uses" below.
Nothing. We hold no database of users, we operate no analytics of our own, and we have no way to identify you across sessions or devices.
That is a consequence of how the apps are built rather than a promise we ask you to take on trust. There is no account to create and no server to store anything on.
Our apps use a small number of third party services. Each one receives only what it needs to answer a request, and none of them receives your name or an account identifier, because no such thing exists.
Some apps look up official public data. When you search, the app sends what is needed for that lookup, such as a postcode or a pair of coordinates, and shows what comes back.
Where an app shows a map, map images are requested from a map provider for the area being viewed.
Free versions of our apps may show advertising supplied by Google AdMob. Google may collect device identifiers and advertising data through those adverts, under Google's privacy policy. You are asked for consent before any advert loads, and you can change that choice at any time in the app's settings. If an app also asks for permission to track, declining means you still see adverts but they are not personalised. The app works the same either way. Paid subscribers see no advertising at all.
Where an app offers a subscription, it is handled by Apple and by RevenueCat, which manages the subscription on our behalf. We never see your payment details. Apple and RevenueCat receive a purchase record and an anonymous identifier generated for your installation, under Apple's and RevenueCat's privacy policies.
Our apps report crashes and errors to Sentry so that faults can be found and fixed. A report contains the error, the device model, the operating system version and the app version. It is configured not to send personal information, and it does not include anything you have saved. See Sentry's privacy policy.
Some apps can use your location, and only when you choose to and while the app is open. If you decline, the app still works, typically by letting you type a place or a postcode instead.
Where location is used, your coordinates are sent to whichever service answers that request, for that request alone. They are not sent to advertisers, and we keep no record of where you have been, because we have nowhere to keep it.
Whatever an app saves for you stays in that app's own storage on your device. Depending on the app, that can include saved items, recent activity, preferences and a short lived cache of results. It is never sent to us.
You can delete it at any time from within the app, and removing the app removes it too.
Shows official food hygiene ratings published by the UK Food Standards Agency.
Stored on your device only: saved places and areas, recently viewed places, recent locations, the location you are browsing near, appearance and gesture settings, and a cache of recent searches kept for four days.
Allergen preferences are health information, used to order food alerts. They are deliberately kept on your device and are never sent anywhere.
Everything can be deleted from Settings, under "Delete saved data".
Our apps are not directed at children and do not knowingly collect information from them.
Under UK data protection law you have rights over personal data held about you. Because our apps have no accounts and we hold no personal data on any server, there is nothing for us to look up, export or delete on request. Data held by Google, Apple, RevenueCat and Sentry is covered by their own policies, linked above, and by their own controls.
If this policy changes, the version at this address is updated and the effective date above changes with it.
